Well, I haven't seen the blue screen of death recently, but I have been working and sick. No excuse you say... e-germs to you!

I get in as often as possible and go through my inbox (which is loaded now since I seem to watch more and more people and haven't cleared it in the past few days), fave/clear deviations and messages, thank people who have faved or commented and then I run off again. I have been remiss in keeping up my journal or even pretending to keep up my journal and posting shots from trips.

Honestly, I haven't been very happy with a lot of my photos lately and haven't done didly squat drawing/scratchboard-wise since I keep having all these ideas go through my head that I just can't translate to paper. I have also been doing some artsy-crafty things like friendship bracelets and keep detouring in my head to stone carving, jewelry design and even a story idea that I am trying to get down on paper (well type into the puter). I just can't seem to get them out of my head and done, unlike my intrepid husband with all his many talents -- Kalijor.com, Aeon Training and Lell Latex.

I am going to travel to Nebraska for a Wool Festival with my mom-in-law who owns and runs K & K Wools, which now has a storefront on top of the online shop. Gotta check out wool and creative things to be done with it for the shop... I get to go and be a bum for a few days(the boys are staying home with their dad whilst I ride along), help with shop related stuffs, take photos and such.

On a different note, my dad has a doctor's appointment the day I leave for Nebraska to go over options... he was diagnoised with cancer but has no details about the extent or anything as yet (thus the appointment). He's viewing it as good news that they didn't demand he come in right away, but it's kind of shaken us all. For those who pray, I'd appreciate it if you kept him in your prayers.

I know I promised features with this journal, but even now my head is going haywire and the back of my skull feels like cracking open. Please accept just a few until I can get my skull straight.
